We’d like to let you all know that we’re taking a break in 2012, so there won’t be a Watusi Festival this year. We had such a great time putting our festival together in 2010 and 2011. However, everyone who organises Watusi is a volunteer, and as you can imagine, putting a festival on in is a huge commitment. We’re saving up our energies to make the next Watusi event as excellent as possible. So, we’re not here in 2012 – sign up to the mailing list here to keep up to date about the future.

We’re sorry to everyone who was looking forward to 3 days of music, theatre and green activities. Although there’s no festival this year, the spirit of Watusi lives on in these events below – see the links for details.

Juju Nations – monthly nights of Funk, Reggae and Afrobeat.
Cardiff One Planet Living Festival – including the closing event of Cardiff Cycle Festival.
Cardiff Vegetarian Festival.
Triban‘s solar stage will be appearing at various festivals throughout the summer.
